The Team
Lucas Vivien
Founder
Deeply passionate about macroeconomics, investing, and data analysis, Lucas worked extensively in corporate finance and sales before creating Vivien Strategies.
Graduated from EHL with majors in portfolio management, market finance, and entrepreneurship. Lucas got on the crypto train in mid-2020 thanks to central banks’ “covid specific” monetary policies.
He then got introduced to the cypherpunk culture, the idealistic goals of Satoshi, and the idea that a decentralized financial world is a target to aim for.
Not a programmer by trade, trading was not part of his program either. Since early 2021, his newly discovered passion urged him to gather all possible knowledge on the topic. Learning how to code to build robust trading systems appeared like the only way to consistency and profitability.
G. D.
Associate
Mysterious G. has been involved in the crypto assets market since 2017. He became mostly specialized in launchpads and especially gaming-related projects across all blockchains.
G. Graduated from EPFL in computer science, his strong analysis fields are centered around tokenomics, community, and his experiences as a beta tester.
Unlike the rest of the team G. foresees a blockchain-imbued future where this technology alleviates the downfalls of centralized organizations.
Lastly, G. is also a solid Pine programmer who trades several of his own systems. He joined forces with Lucas in 2023 to share his valuable skills among the greatest number of people.
Nicolas Gailly
Technical Advisor
Fascinated about blockchain technology, Nicolas has worked for big players in the industry ever since he finished school.
Also an EPFL graduate, Nicolas is a full-stack developer, and an expert in many programming languages such as Python, C, Java, Rust, and many others.
Always actively tracking emerging DeFi projects, Nicolas is dedicated to leveraging the synergy between a wide range of decentralized services such as liquidity providing, yield “farming”, borrowing/lending, and much more.
While our strategies are currently dedicated to trading on centralized exchanges, Nico works towards the transposition of our services towards decentralized and/or open-source platforms.
